The Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Independent Panthers to 30 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cyclones now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's-Colgan for a non-league contest on Friday, March 10. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will battle a Panthers team coming off a 52-38 non-league win over St. Marys (St. Marys, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 22-0.
