The Porter Ridge Pirates crushed the host Butler Bulldogs baseball team by a tally of 13-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Pirates now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Stanly for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 14. Porter Ridge will face a Colts team coming off a 11-2 non-league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Colts record now stands at 2-1.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 13. Butler will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
