Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Umatilla Bulldogs (Umatilla, FL) and the visiting Lake Weir Hurricanes (Ocala, FL), saw Umatilla's baseball squad knock off Lake Weir by a count of 9-5.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Leesburg Yellow Jackets (Leesburg, FL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 11. Umatilla will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL).
