North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Milton Eagles (Milton, GA), 9-8 in a league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Woodstock for a non-league test on Friday, March 10. North Gwinnett will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 16-2 league win over River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-4.
In their next game, the Eagles face the South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA) in a 7A Area 4 test, on Tuesday, March 14. Milton will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The War Eagles come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA).
