James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels confront the Dorman Cavaliers (Roebuck, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Monday, March 13. James F. Byrnes will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC).
The Raiders now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Brashier Middle College Charter for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 14.
