South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 16-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Northwest Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 14. South Rowan will face a Trojans squad coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, A.L. Brown falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wonders travel to Cox Mill (Concord, NC) to face the Chargers in a Greater Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Cox Mill lost 16-12 in their recent league challenge against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
