Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA), 20-1 in a league challenge.
The Rebels now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10.
With the loss, Booker T. Washington falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Willow (New Orleans, LA) to face the Lions in a 4A District 9 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
