The Burbank Bulldogs softball squad scored 14 runs and restricted the host Muir Mustangs to 1 in the Bulldogs league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Crusaders go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Village Christian was routed by Chaminade (West Hills, CA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Compton Early College for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 16. Muir will meet a Rising Phoenix squad coming off a 20-15 non-league loss to Centennial (Compton, CA). The Rising Phoenix record now stands at 0-3.
