In Thursday's non-league contest, the Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Converse moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Florien (Florien, LA) to play the Blackcats in a B District 3 contest on Thursday, April 6. The Blackcats come into the contest with a record of 6-3.
In their next game, the Flyers play the Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 13. Loyola College Prep will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record.
