The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Orange Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA) and the host Crescenta Valley Falcons (La Crescenta, CA), saw Orange Lutheran's softball squad nip Crescenta Valley by a count of 5-0.

The Lancers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perry for a non-league match on Friday, March 10. Orange Lutheran will face a Pumas squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Pumas record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Crescenta Valley falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Hoover (Glendale, CA) to face the Tornados in a Pacific match on Tuesday, March 21. The Tornados enter the match with a record of 1-4. Hoover lost 10-0 in their recent league match against Arcadia (Arcadia, CA)
