The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) and the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), saw Eastern Randolph's softball squad nip Southern Alamance by a count of 13-10.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Asheboro for a non-league match on Friday, March 10. Eastern Randolph will face a Blue Comets squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Southern Alamance falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to face the Tigers in a DAC-VII 4A match on Monday, March 13. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 3-0.
