The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA), saw Venice's softball squad nip El Segundo by a count of 4-1.
The Gondoliers now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host University for a Western match on Tuesday, March 14.
With the loss, El Segundo falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to face the Wolves in a Pioneer match on Friday, March 10. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 1-3.
