The Leesville Road Pride softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Green Hope Falcons to 5 in the Pride non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Leesville Road improves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Pride host Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 15. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 2-2.
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A game, on Monday, March 13. Green Hope will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 25-0 non-league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).
