Utah High School Softball - Millard knocked off by Richfield

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Richfield Wildcats (Richfield, UT) softball team overwhelmed the host Millard Eagles (Fillmore, UT), by a margin of 19-8.

With the triumph, Richfield moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats host North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT) to play the Hawks in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 15. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 6-0. North Sanpete won 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Kanab Cowboys (Kanab, UT) in a 2A contest, on Tuesday, March 14. Millard will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cowboys come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 16-15 non-league loss to North Sevier (Salina, UT).
