Osceola Kowboys (Kissimmee, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Montverde Academy Eagles (Montverde, FL), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Kowboys now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Cloud for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21. Osceola will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Cornerstone Charter Academy (Belle Isle, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Montverde Academy falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Providence Day (Charlotte, NC) to face the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Providence Day lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against East Ridge (Clermont, FL)
