The Artesia Pioneers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Western Pioneers to 1 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pioneers (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Lobos go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Rancho Dominguez was overwhelmed by South Gate (South Gate, CA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Pioneers (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Savanna (Anaheim, CA). The Rebels go into the Orange match with a 9-1 record. In their last match, Savanna gained a win over Westminster (Westminster, CA), 6-3, in a non-league match.
