The Blooming Grove Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Howe Bulldogs to 8 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region III District 18 match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Rice by Italy (Italy, TX), 12-10, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Ferris (Ferris, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Ferris tipped Danbury (Danbury, TX), 4-2, in a non-league match.
