The Buffalo Bison nudged the host Douglass Indians baseball team by a tally of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bison now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a 3A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, March 12. Buffalo will face a Eagles team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
Next, the Indians face the Apple Springs Eagles (Apple Springs, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 11. Douglass will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, TX).
