In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting George West Longhorns baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Riesel Indians.
The Longhorns (11-14) will now prepare for their game against Odem (Odem, TX). The Owls go into the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Odem tipped Agua Dulce (Agua Dulce, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
The Indians (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Hubbard (Hubbard, TX). The Jaguars go into the 2A Region II District 16 game with a 6-3 record.
