The Jena Giants baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Monterey Wolves to 5 in the Giants non-league victory on Saturday.
The Giants (8-5) will now prepare for their match against LaSalle (Olla, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, LaSalle was overwhelmed by L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA), 11-5, in a non-league match.
The Wolves (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Mustangs go into the B District 5 match with a 5-6 record.
