With the win, Lake Highlands upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Highland Park (Dallas, TX) to battle the Scots in a 6A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Scots come into the test with a record of 4-9. Highland Park won 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX)

With the defeat, Pottsboro falls to 4-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Howe (Howe, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-8. Howe won 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Ferris (Ferris, TX)
