In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Lassen Grizzlies baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Spanish Springs Cougars.
The Grizzlies (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Quincy tipped Corning (Corning, CA), 10-5, in a non-league game.
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Galena (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies go into the 5A Northern game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Galena tipped McQueen (Reno, NV), 9-5, in a non-league game.
