The Moody Blue Devils baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Shades Valley Mounties to 8 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Saturday.
The Blue Devils (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Pell City was overwhelmed by Thompson (Alabaster, AL), 7-0, in a non-league match.
The Mounties (2-10) will now prepare for their match against Minor (Adamsville, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Minor was overwhelmed by John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 3-0, in a non-league match.
