The Plano West Wolves baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Wakeland Wolverines to 2 in the Wolves non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wolves (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Plano (Plano, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region I District 6 match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Plano edged Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 7-3, in a non-league match.
The Wolverines (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers go into the 5A Region II District 9 match with a 7-9 record. In their last match, Lone Star was overwhelmed by McKinney North (McKinney, TX), 6-0, in a non-league match.
