The Tyler Legacy Raiders got by the host Port Neches-Groves Indians baseball team by a count of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mesquite for a 6A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, March 12. Tyler Legacy will face a Skeeters team coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Crandall (Crandall, TX). The Skeeters record now stands at 8-2.
Next, the Indians face the Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 bout, on Tuesday, March 12. Port Neches-Groves will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Ganders enter the bout with a 9-5 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Alief Hastings (Houston, TX).
