The Sinton Pirates baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Stony Point Tigers to 3 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates (10-4) will now prepare for their match against West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bears go into the 4A Region IV District 30 match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, West Oso was edged by Edna (Edna, TX), 11-5, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (9-10) will now prepare for their match against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 13-4 record. In their last match, Waxahachie was edged by Bowie (Austin, TX), 6-4, in a non-league match.
