The Rio Americano Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs to 1 in the Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Raiders now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitney for a non-league game on Saturday, March 9. Rio Americano will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Placer was nudged by El Dorado (Placerville, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
