The St. Edward Eagles held off the visiting Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's league test.

The Eagles now have a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Albany for a test on Saturday, March 9. St. Edward will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. Edward (Lakewood, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

The Yellowjackets (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH). The Beavers enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record.
