The Alameda Hornets held off the visiting International Jaguars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop O'Dowd for a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. Alameda will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 9-1.
The Jaguars (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Archie Williams (San Anselmo, CA). The Peregrine Falcons enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Archie Williams held off Ukiah (Ukiah, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
