The South Spartans held off the host Bellflower Buccaneers volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans now have a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. South will confront a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-5.
The Buccaneers (8-8) will now prepare for their test against North (Torrance, CA). The Saxons enter the non-league test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, North held off San Marino (San Marino, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
