The California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes held off the visiting Centennial Apaches volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Coyotes now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sonora for a non-league test on Sunday, March 10. California Academy of Math & Science will confront a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-7.

The Apaches (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA). The Cougars enter the Ocean test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Hawthorne was nudged by California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA), 1-0, in a non-league test.
