In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Lynwood Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes.

The Knights (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Miners come into the non-league battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Sunrise Mountain was edged by Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Coyotes clash with the Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 9. California Academy of Math & Science will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Apaches come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Inglewood (Inglewood, CA).
