The Hawthorne Cougars volleyball team (Hawthorne, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Carson Colts (Carson, CA)

The Colts (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Dominguez (Compton, CA). The Dons enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Dominguez defeated Morningside (Inglewood, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes (Carson, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 9. Hawthorne will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league win over New Roads (Santa Monica, CA).
