The Providence Pioneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Kennedy Cougars to 1 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pioneers now possess a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Polytechnic for a non-league game on Saturday, March 9. Providence will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
The Cougars (7-9) will now prepare for their game against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen enter the non-league game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, St. Paul nipped Serra (Gardena, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
