In Saturday's non-league contest, the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the host St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA) in a Valley Mission contest, on Monday, March 11. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 league win over San Fernando (San Fernando, CA).

With the loss, St. Paul moves to 3-9 on the year. The Swordsmen host Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to battle the Stars in a Santa Fe contest on Tuesday, March 12. The Stars go into the contest with a record of 1-10. Mary Star of the Sea lost 1-0 in their recent non-league contest against Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA)
