California High School Volleyball - Lakewood can't hold off South

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting South Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Lakewood Lancers.
The Spartans (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Taft was edged by Saugus (Saugus, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lancers encounter the Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore battle, on Tuesday, March 12. Lakewood will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Millikan (Long Beach, CA).
