The Lincoln Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cupertino for a non-league game on Saturday, March 9. Lincoln will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mountain View (Mountain View, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-2.
The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit (San Jose, CA). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit was nudged by Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
