In Saturday's non-league outing, the Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Gouverneur Wildcats (Gouverneur, NY), by a margin of 45-21.
The Bears (21-3) will now prepare for their outing against Southwestern (Jamestown, NY). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 15-7 record. In their last outing, Southwestern smashed Hornell (Hornell, NY), 63-61, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 20-5 record.
