In Saturday's non-league test, the host Hillgrove Hawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-10 victory over the Mountain Brook Spartans.

The Hawks now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kell for a non-league test on Monday, March 11. Hillgrove will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 17-8 league win over Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-0.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) in a Freelance test, on Wednesday, March 13. Mountain Brook will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, TN).
