The Pomfret School Griffins lacrosse squad (Pomfret, CT), was overwhelmed 19-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Sacred Heart Valkyries (Louisville, KY)

Coming up next, the Valkyries confront the IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, March 10. Sacred Heart will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Ascenders enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 19-5 non-league win over Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN).

The Griffins now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dexter Southfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 9.
