The La Cueva Bears softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Gallup Bengals to 3 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, La Cueva improves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Miyamura (Gallup, NM) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Saturday, March 9. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 1-0. Miyamura won 18-1 in their recent non-league game against Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM)
In their next game, the Bengals clash with the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 13. Gallup will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 22-1 non-league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
