The St. Joseph's Catholic Knights lacrosse team scored 11 points and limited the host Asheville Cougars to 3 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Riverside (Greer, SC). The Warriors enter the 4A-1A Upper game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Riverside was overwhelmed by Greenville (Greenville, SC), 10-7, in a non-league game.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers enter the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Patton was overwhelmed by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 19-0, in a league game.
