Virginia High School Lacrosse - Bishop Ireton overwhelms Legion Collegiate Academy

The Bishop Ireton Cardinals lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the visiting Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers to 7 in the Cardinals non-league win on Saturday.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Quakers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Sidwell Friends knocked off Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 13-12, in a non-league contest.
The Lancers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Butler for a non-league contest on Monday, March 11. Legion Collegiate Academy will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 19-2 non-league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
