The Mariposa County Grizzlies softball team (Mariposa, CA), was routed 7-0 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA)

The Bruins (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Center (Antelope, CA). The Cougars go into the Pioneer Valley League bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Center was routed by Sutter (Sutter, CA), 22-0, in a league bout.

The Grizzlies now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sonora for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 12. Mariposa County will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Carter (Rialto, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.
