Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Grizzlies now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bullard for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Central will face a Knights squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Clovis East (Clovis, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, St. Joseph falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Clovis North (Fresno, CA) to face the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Clovis North won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Monache (Porterville, CA)
