In Saturday's non-league contest, the Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA) softball team the visiting Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA), by a margin of 8-6.

With the triumph, Valencia moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Tigers host Buena Park (Buena Park, CA) to play the Coyotes in a non-league contest on Monday, March 11. The Coyotes come into the contest with a record of 6-2. Buena Park won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA)

In their next game, the Pumas play the Linfield Christian Lions (Temecula, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 11. Chaparral will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
