California High School Softball - San Diego knocked off by Hemet

March 9, 2024: San Diego, CA 92101

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA), by a margin of 12-0.

With the triumph, Hemet moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to play the Matadors in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 9. The Matadors come into the contest with a record of 3-1. Mount Miguel won 17-2 in their recent non-league contest against La Jolla (La Jolla, CA)

In their next game, the Cavers play the Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 12. San Diego will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Sweetwater (National City, CA).
