California High School Softball - Linden bounces Rio Americano

March 9, 2024: Linden, CA 95236

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Linden Lions (Linden, CA) and the visiting Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA), witnessed Linden's softball squad tip Rio Americano by a count of 9-2.

The Lions now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Big Valley Christian for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 13. Linden will face a Lions squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Rio Americano moves to 2-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Natomas (Sacramento, CA) to face the Nighthawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 12. The Nighthawks go into the match with a record of 1-1. Natomas won 10-7 in their recent non-league match against San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA)
