Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Port Allen for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. Maurepas will face a Pelicans squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Pelicans record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Patterson falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Franklin (Franklin, LA) to face the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 1-7.
