The North DeSoto Griffins routed the visiting Mt. Carmel Cubs softball squad by a final score of 11-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Griffins (17-0) will now prepare for their battle against Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 12-2 record.

The Cubs now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host John Curtis Christian for a 5A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 12. Mt. Carmel will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Walker (Walker, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 11-5.
